Capacity

Machine and Industrial Equipment Corporation consists of almost 3000 employees, 30% of them having doctoral, master or bachelor degrees and highly skillful workers with domestic and international training. MIE member companies (subsidiaries and associates) are consistently equipped with advanced equipment, machinery and instruments to implement processes from design to manufacturing and inspection of product quality with advanced technologies, installation of systems meeting all strict technical requirements of customers in different aspects. Our capacity can be detailed as follows:

 

1. Equipment and technology:

1.1. Casting capacity

     - Medium frequency induction furnace 2 tons/batch (steel),  0.5 ton/batch, 2 tons/batch (cast-iron).

     - 01 automation sand casting mold making line.

     - 02 Furan casting lines.

     - Sand castin production line

     - Other auxiliarily equipment.

     - Capacity: Maximum 12,960 tons of products /year

     - Casting product dimension: Maximum weight 15 tons, and maximum dimension 4mx4mx4m.

 

1.2. Forging and Heat treatment capacity

     - Forging hammer 750, 500, 250 kg, Sawing machine Dmax400.

     - Coal carburizing furnace, high frequency furnace, dimension of carburizing agent 450x900.

     - Forging equipment with maximum dimensions Ø50x 150 mm.

     - Equipment for heat treatment: Furnace with maximum temperature of 1200°C which can treat objects with maximum dimensions of 450 x 300 x 200 mm; tempering furnaces with chamber dimensions of Ø400 x 1100 mm, Ø600 x 7000 mm, 800 x 400 x 600 mm.

     - Hot and cold forging devices mainly used to manufacture bolts, nuts, washers, buffers, grades from 4.6 to 12.9. Net output is about 150 tons per month.

 

1.3. Steel structure manufacturing capacity

     - Pipe bending with max dimension . Ø3000, max. thickness 40, automatic welders which can weld pipe segments of maximum diameter of 6,000mm

     - Flanging machine with maximum diameter of 6m, automatic welders which can weld cylinders of 6m in diameter, 6m in length at maximum, resulting in possible manufacturing of pressure tubes and tanks of up to 10m in diameter.

     - Welding, cutting, punching, stamping machines, etc.

     - Manufacturing and installation of non-standard super-long and super-heavy equipment of up to 14m in diameter, 35m in length, 160 tons in weight. Capacity to manufacture steel structures: 30,000 tons of steel structures/year, and 8,000 tons of steel tubes/year.

 

1.4. Machining capacity (some typical equipment)

 

* Heavy duty machines:

     - Lathe machine: diameter of product Ø500 (via lathe bed) , Ø250 (via carriage), distance between centers 1500.

     - Lathe machine: diameter of product  Φmax.630, distance between centers 2800.

     - Vertical Lathe: Dmax 6300, height 2500.

     - Lathe: diameter of product Ø1600 (via lathe bed), Ø1200 (via carriage), distance between centers 12000.

     - Vertical Lathe: Ø max.2800, Height 500.

     - Horizontal Boring machine – Product size 7000x3000x5000.

     - Gear Milling machine: Dmax 3000, m24.

     - Bed milling machine – Product size 3000x2500x1000.

     - Planing machine – Product size 8000x2000x1400.

     - CNC lathe machine, Maximum manufacturable part : Ø400, distance between centers 800.

 

* Medium and small machines:

     - Lathe machine Dmax 1200, distance between centers L6000.

     - Gear milling machine: Dmax 2200, m16.

     - Drilling machine: Dmax65.

     - CNC machining center (XYZ travel: 1200x600x600) and CNC lathe machine with dimension D600 (via lathe bed), D400 (via carriage), 1200 (distance between centers) specialized for machining of parts with high precision

     - Lathe machine: Dmax800, distance between centers L5000.

     - Thread-cutting lathe: Dmax1000, distance between centers L4000.

     - Gear milling machine: Dmax1100, m16.

     - Drilling machine Dmax50.

     - 02 CNC lathe machines with dimension Dmax300, Dmax200 (via lathe bed), distance between centers 1000.

     - Lathe machine for maximum diameter Ø 400; distance between centers L = 1000.

     - Plane grinder with dimensions of working table 1000 x 320; which can manufacture components with maximum height H= 200.

     - CNC tool grinder SE 20 (made in Germany), which can manufacture components with maximum diameter Ø 25; maximum distance between centers L = 200.

     - CNC grinder (made in Sweden) which can manufacture components with maximum diameter Ø320, maximum distance between centers L = 800 mm;

     - Tap grinder TapX (made in Australia), which can manufacture components with maximum diameter Ø 130; maximum distance between centers L = 225.

 

   * Some typical products:

     - Gears with diameters of up to 5,500mm, modules up to 50; Super-precision gears for generators.

     - Barges with load is up to 19,200 tons/year.

     - Gear reducers with capacity of up to 1,000KW, manufacturing output is up to 3.000 unit/year.

     - Manufacturing of hydropower turbines with capacity of 50MW/turbine.

 

1.5. Surface treatment capacity

All workshops used for manufacturing structures have their own closed (abrasive) blasting chamber and paint spray chamber.

 

1.6. Measurement and test equipment capacity

     - Test equipment for mechanical, physical and chemical properties

     - Measurement equipment

     - Our test equipment for mechanical, physical and chemical properties has been granted with permit for accreditation, and with it, we can provide our clients with test certificates.

 

1.7. Lifting equipment capacity

We owns a wide range of lifting equipment, including crane spindles, gantry crane, forklift, cranes and many others.

The current charter capital of the Machine & Industrial Equipment Corporation is VND 1,419,915,000,000 (in words: One thousand, four hundred nineteen billion, nine hundred fifteen million Vietnam dong).
