An Khe Hydropower Plant, Gia Lai Province

An Khe - Kanak Hydropower project is located on Ba river, in the planning scheme for hydropower steps on Ba river system. The plant was constructed with total installed capacity of 173MW, in which the centre group plant of Kanak 13MW and An Khe is 160MW. The average annual power output is 694 million KWh with total investment rate of about 3740 billion VND. The project was commenced for construction on November 14th 2005 and completed in 2009.
MIE leads the joint venture of contractors in manufacturing and supply all hydraulic mechanical equipment for this project.
