On the morning of January 16, 2019, at Hanoi Mechanical Company Limited office, Thuan Thanh 3 Industrial Zone, Thanh Khuong, Thuan Thanh Bac Ninh, the conference to review 2018 and implement the tasks in 2019 was deployed.
On the morning of January 16, 2019, at Hanoi Mechanical Company Limited office, Thuan Thanh 3 Industrial Zone, Thanh Khuong, Thuan Thanh Bac Ninh, the conference to review 2018 and implement the tasks in 2019 was deployed.
Attending the conference, there were members of Board of Directors, Chairman of Union, Head of Supervisory Board, heads of the divisions of the Corporation and leaders of the units under the Corporation, Mr. Tran Quoc Toan, Party Secretary, Chairman of Board and Mr. Nguyen Khac Hai, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee and General Director of MIE, chairman of the Conference.
At the Conference, the Corporation solemnly awarded the Certificate of the Prime Minister to Mr. Tran Quoc Toan, Member of the Executive Board of Ha Noi Industrial Party Committee, Party committee secretary, Chairman of Board of Directors of the Company, who had made achievements in his work, contributing to building socialism and national defense and the Certificate of Minister of Industry and Trade for collectives and individuals, who had made achievements in office work in the period of 2017-2018.
Mr. Pham Thanh Dong, Deputy General Director, on behalf of the Board of Directors of the Corporation, presented the report of business production results in 2018 and implementation of the tasks in 2019. The results of work in 2018 of the Corporation are as follows:
- Parent company, subsidiary company achieved 7/8 targets, including export growth target of 39.5% compared to 2017, increased 10% compared to the plan (import target did not reach the plan).
- Equitization settlement: Submitted to the Ministry of Industry and Trade the file of equitization settlement on March 30, 2018.
- Divestment of restructuring: Submitted to the Ministry of Industry and Trade to approve the starting price and the plan to divest the Parent Company on December 7, 2018; Completed the divestment of Quang Nam Mechanical and Electrical Construction Joint Stock Company; expect to take ISC Company out of special supervision from 01/01/2019.
- Financial and accounting work: Performed financial supervision at subsidiaries; Strengthened the accounting system at One-member Limited Companies.
- Reporting and information provisioning system: The parent company has carried out well, on time and with quality; Subsidiaries have had a positive change to meet the requirements, and the quality has been improved.
- Project settlement: Mecanimex Company project has been approved before the plan.
In 2019, MIE sets out the following production and business targets:
- Total revenue: VND 1,232 billion.
- Industrial production value: VND 780 billion.
- Revenue from industrial production: VND 780 billion.
- Export turnover: USD 4,2 million.
- Import turnover: USD 3,85 million.
- Average income: VND 8,7 million/person/month.
At the same time, propose a number of tasks on divestment, subsidiary restructuring, financial supervision, equitization settlement, project settlement, etc.
At the conference, discussions an reports of leaders of member units: Hanoi Mechanical Company Limited, Quang Trung Mechanical Company, Duyen Hai and Cong Mechanical Joint Stock Company. Hai Duong Grinding Joint Stock Company, Mecanimex Company, Tool No. 1 were also carried out.
Speaking at the Conference, Chairman of the Board of Directors of MIE shared the difficulties of the member units, mentioned changes of the Corporation and went into the main contents of the meeting to remove difficulties, solve problems, promote production. He recommended to attach importance to solutions to renovate technologies, equipment, recruiting and training human resources in order to reduce product prices and increase competitiveness, strengthen management, supervision and control to improve efficiency.
While concluding the conference, General Director of MIE evaluated, praised and acknowledged the results MIE achieved in 2018, efforts of the Board of Directors of the Corporation, Leaders of member units and all officials and employees in the Corporation.
At the same time, the General Director also stated advantages, difficulties and challenges in 2019 of the Corporation, suggested the units in the Corporation continue to strive to complete and exceed the set targets..
On behalf of the Board of Directors, Mr. Nguyen Khac Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Director of MIE sent best wishes to all the attendants in the Conference and their families on the occasion of Lunar New Year.
