Nam - Emoun Hydropower Project

On 25th January  2019, the signing ceremony of subcontracting for hydro-mechanical engineering of Nam - Emoun hydropower project took place between Machines and Industrial Equipment Corporation (MIE) and Song Da 5 Joint Stock Company (Song Da 5) at the office of Song Da 5 Joint Stock Company, 5th floor, Tower B, HH4 building, Song Da - My Dinh urban area, My Dinh 1 ward, Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi.

 

Nam - Emoun Hydropower Project is invested by Chaleun Sekong Energy Co., Ltd based in Vientiane, Lao PDR. The project iss located in Nam E-moun and Hoyay Het rivers, in Sekong province, Lao PDR. The installed capacity of project is 129 MW with the average annual energy generation of 427,4 GWh. The project consists of main structures: Diversion Dam, Main Dam, and Waterway with the tunnel length of around 20 km, Powerhouse, Switchyard … Nam E-moun Hydropower Project is evaluated as one  important socio-economic project with the aim of developing a clean, renewable project that is friendly with the environment and contributes to the poverty reduction for local people.

 

Song Da 5 Joint Stock Company is the unit assigned by the Investor to be the General Contractor of the work construction

 

Industrial Machinery and Equipment Corporation - Joint Stock Company shall implement all the design, construction and installation of hydro-mechanical equipment. Total contract value is 361 billion dong.
