Pleikrong Hydropower Plant, Kon Tum Province

Pleikrong Hydropower Plant is constructed in Kon Tum Province, on the major tributary of Krong Pôk River, belonging to the upperstream part of Se San River. The whole items of this project is located in Sa Binh commune, Sa Thay district and in Kroong commune, Kontum town.
The factory has installed power of 100 MW with 2 generator units, the average power output is 417.2 million KWh, total investment budget is 3494 billion VND.
Machinery and Industrial Equipment Corporation is the joint-name representative of MIE-NARIME-VINAINCON supplying of hydraulic equipment for Package no.3.
- Commencement time: November 23rd, 2003.
- The first machine unit connecting to the national grid on: May 12th, 2009.
- Officially commercial power generation on May 24th, 2009.
