Son Tra 1 Hydropower Project

Son Tra Hydropower plant 1, owned by 30-4 Quang Ngai JSC with total investment budget of 1900 billion VND, including 2 plants: Son Tra 1A plant (30MW) and Son Tra 1B plant (30MW) with total generating capacity of 60 MW, total annual power output of 210 million kWh per year. The project is constructed on Dak Se River in Son Lap Commune, Son Tay District and Son Ky Commune, Son Ha District, Quang Ngai Province. The project will be implemented within 3 years and expectedly to be completed and put into operation in the first quarter of 2018.
The fabrication, transportation and installation of hydro-mechanical equipment for the entire project is implemeneted by MIE with total equipment volume of more than 1,600 tons, within 330 days for nearly 1,500 tons of main equipment. Contract value is more than 68 billion VND.
