Binh Dien Hydropower Plant, Thua Thien Hue

Binh Dien Hydropower Plant, which is constructed on Huu Trach River, is a tributary of Huong River, located in Binh Dien Commune, Huong Tra District, Thua Thien Hue Province. It has two generator units of M1, M2 with a total capacity of 44 MW, estimated yearly power output is 181,656 million kWh, with total investment budget of 1.071 billion VND.
- The project was started on January 29th, 2005.
- The plant is officially put into operation and connected to national grid on May 20th, 2009.
