Nam Ma Hydropower Plant, Ha Giang Province

Nam Ma Hydropower Plant is constructed on Nam Ma Stream, located in Cao Bo Commune, Vi Xuyen District, Ha Giang Province, being 12 km far away from the north of Ha Giang Town as the crow flies. Nam Ma hydropower plant has a installed capacity of 3.2 MW (Fancis-type turbine), and cross head for power generating of 115m, the yearly average power output is 10.43 million kWh. The project has been in operation since 1992.
